Experiments aiming to discover CP violation
in b decay include:
-
The "B factories" under construction both in Japan and the U.S.
- The HERA-B experiment under
construction at the DESY Laboratory in Hamburg, Germany.
- The CLEO experiment
at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR) --
currently the world's most productive facility for the study of
b physics, it is undergoing a substantial upgrade that may make it competitive
for b CP-violation studies as well.
- The existing CDF and D0 experiments at Fermilab, which are upgrading in
ways that will substantially improve their b physics capabilities.
